Job Description Summary
Bentley University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance to begin in Spring 2020. In addition to teaching and advising students, the ideal candidate will oversee the operations and activities of Bentley's acclaimed Trading Room. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Master's Degree and have knowledge and experience in the investment management field as well as experience teaching Finance courses at accredited institutions. Preferred teaching topics include Equity Research, Portfolio Management, Derivatives and/or Fixed Income Securities. Knowledge and experience in Fintech is a plus. Expectations for overseeing the Trading Room include daily operations, supervising student assistants, and engaging with the external community, including corporate partners and alumni, to promote opportunities for learning on and off campus for students.
