Position: Lecturer: Temporary faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional semesters for Real Estate Courses
Starting Date: Spring 2022 and on-going. Positions will be filled as needed for each academic semester.
MBA or M.S. degree from an accredited institution of higher education and a California Real Estate Broker License (or its equivalent issued by the other States) at the time of employment. Industry or related professional experience is a must. A commitment to maintaining currency in the field through related professional practice. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic campus with significant prior teaching experience with evidence of high teaching effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be expected to join faculty, staff, students, and administrators in our University's shared commitment to the principles of engagement, service, and the public good.
Appropriate doctoral or terminal degree.
Faculty will teach courses and be available for office hours. Teaching FIN 4320 Real Estate Management or FIN 4930 Real Estate Investments. Other teaching opportunities include the areas of Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Valuation, Real Estate Market Analysis, Residential Project Management, Flipping a House, and Real Estate Practice.
Salary: Initial salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
