The Senior Finance Manager is a hands-on leader that manages and performs duties related to Greenfield's financial
accounting, planning, sales controlling and treasury functions for all US and Canadian entities. This includes but is not limited to reporting of financial information including budgets, planning and actual data, and required filings to both internal and external parties. This position requires accuracy, a hands-on approach, minimal supervision, attention to detail, an ethical, honest and open character, strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills and a detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position reports directly to the CFO, Overseas Operations.
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions
Sales controlling including profitability analysis, commission calculation and reporting
Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting. Develops budget, monitors progress and helps to define corrective actions
when necessary.
Treasury functions including cash flow planning, bank transactions, bank reporting and bank compliance. Interacts
with bank partners as needed.
Preparation of monthly reports, analysis of financial data to support the management team with financial information as required. Review financial results with management, identify key drivers affecting the result and help to
determine corrective actions required.
Develop procedures, processes, and controls to improve the data integrity and efficiency of the Finance Department
Lead and successfully manage the yearly audit process
Optimize cost exposure through proactive management of working capital accounts
Manage and guide the activities of the Finance team.
Advise leadership on risks and opportunities related to profitability, compliance, and legality.
Interact with tax and compliance team.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, advanced degree preferred.
CPA strongly preferred
A minimum of ten years of progressive financial experience including supervisory experience.
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and Microsoft Office products as well as experience with an ERP system such as SAP, AX, JD Edwards.
Global manufacturing background preferred.
Minimal travel
Ability to meet the pressure of deadlines
during month end, year end, audit period
May sit for long periods and focus on
data in order to achieve results
Will w ork in a computer all day and use phone,
text, and chat to communicate
Capable of e ffectively leading a team, adjusting
management style as appropriate in order to achieve success as a team
